Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be between 21 and 55 years of age. Unusual age restriction compared to most digital nomad visas. Upper age limit strictly enforced.
Minimum $3,000/month or $36,000 annually required. Must provide bank statements and employment contracts as proof. Lower than Portugal or Spain requirements.
Must hold university diploma or certification of degree. Required proof of graduation. Higher education requirement differentiates Turkey from many other programs.
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from Turkey arrival date. Standard international travel requirement.
Work Restrictions
Can only work remotely for non-Turkish companies or clients. Cannot work for Turkish employers or provide services to Turkish residents. Employment contract must be from foreign company.
Self-employed individuals and freelancers eligible. Must provide business contracts with foreign companies. Cannot serve Turkish domestic market.
Visa Details
Initial visa valid for one year. Can be renewed for additional year if meeting requirements. No direct path to permanent residency currently.
Apply online through GoTürkiye platform for Digital Nomad Identification Certificate. Then visit Turkish consulate with certificate and documents. Processing takes 4-6 weeks.
